what is self storage and how does it work?

Self Storage is a service offering flexible, do-it-yourself storage for business, household and personal storage. We provide clean units, to which access is 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Your storage is locked with your own personal key ensuring that you are the person to have access to your goods.


how much does it cost to store things in a unit?

It depends on the amount of items you have to store. We have a print out of the different units in our office so you can better visualize the exact size you need. You can also check our Unit Sizes and Pricing page for more information.

 


what is included in the price? are there any hidden extras?

The price you are quoted by our staff is your monthly charge for rental of that unit. You will need a lock to secure your unit. You can also purchase insurance through TenantOne, if you are not covered by other policies.


If there is a storage space available that meets your specific storage needs, you can move in anytime during normal business hours. We also offer a 24 hour kiosk to help you move in and make payments.

when can I move in?


what type of documentation do I need to provide in order to rent space?

We require a government-issued photo ID (example: driver’s license, state ID, or passport)


does there have to be someone in the office to let me through the security gate?

No. At the time of your move in you will be given your own security pass code that will allow you access 24 hours.


how & when do I make a payment?

You can pay in person, mail a check or money order, make a payment through our website or use our 24 hr kiosk. We also offer a secure payment box near the office door. You can sign up to have payments automatically deducted from your credit card. You may also wish to call us with a credit card payment.

Units are leased on a monthly basis, with payments made in advance. You may choose to have payments automatically drafted from a checking account, a credit card, or make payments in our office. Late charges do apply, and will be specified in your lease agreement. 


what forms of payments do you accept?

We accept Cash, Check, Money Order, Visa or MasterCard. You can also Pay Online.


how often can I have access to my unit? does it cost for access?

We can offer access 7 days a week, at the request of the customer. Access is free at Fletcher Storage Center, regardless of how many times you access your unit.


No, we rent on a month-to-month basis unless the customer requests otherwise.

do I need to sign a long-term lease?


All contracts are month-to-month. However, we would appreciate a 7 day notice before you move out. Please close your door and leave your lock off of the unit to signal that you have moved out. Locked units will continue to pay rent.

how much notice needs to be given before I move out?


Yes, we sell all sizes of boxes, locks and other packing supplies.

do you sell boxes and storage supplies?


Liquids, explosives, flammable liquids, toxic materials and perishables. Please contact us if you have any questions regarding a specific item.
